At ten to eleven months of age, baby’s large muscle development could include beginning to crawl backward instead of forward, scooting along on baby’s bottom or sliding on the tummy when baby is on the floor. Around nine to eleven months baby could begin walking sideways while holding on to a sturdy table with mother’s supervision.
